Jharkhand State came into existence on 15th November, 2000. After the formation of Jharkhand State from Bihar, the "Diploma in Pharmacy Examination Committee" was established by the Government of Jharkhand to oversee the conduct and management of Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) examinations across the state. This committee operates under the Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare Department, Government of Jharkhand.
